New Favorite Fresco

We found a camel spider.

First Attempt at ERCiYES MOUNTAIN

-Erciyes from the highway.  Big volcano.  Commands respect.
According to Strabo, the region was still volcanically active in his day.  According to Wikipedia, Erciyes last erupted in 253BC.  And according to Mark Barill, geologically speaking, that was seconds ago.
Respect granted.

-Got lost in a village.  A man with a tractor led us to the mountain pass.

-We got about half way up, but I was feeling sick so we had to turn back.  It was so beautiful there - I can't wait to go back with 4 wheel drive.

Music, fireworks, gunshots

A wedding in the village tonight.
Everyone brings their guns to weddings here.
If I'm invited to a wedding, I have to borrow one.
